Spare Backup, a provider of automated, online backup applications for home users and small businesses, has launched a new version of Spare Backup platform which allows users of Apple’s Mac to backup their computer data to their accounts into the cloud.
The company claims that the new Spare Backup platform takes simple and automated backup to a wider audience and allows cross-platform recovery from anywhere. It allows Mac users to have access to their stored data from anywhere in the event of a loss.
In addition, it grants access via any browser to an array of cloud capabilities including music, photo and data sharing as well as the ability to import and export from social networking sites such as Facebook, Twitter and Flickr, the company said.
Cery Perle, CEO of Spare Backup, said: We are excited to launch this offering for Apple users who represent a fast growing market. We are confident that our ease of use and robust features for Macs will be well received by Apple users.
