According to the company, the C1001 series supports the dual-core and quad-core processors from both AMD and Intel. The series include three severs based on Intel Xeon and eight servers based on AMD Opteron integrated with the company’s high density, eco-logical half-depth chassis.

The company said that the servers feature one hot-swap 3.5-inch or two hot-swap 2.5-inch serial attached SCSI (SAS) or serial ATA II (SATA II) disk drives, with capacity of up to 2 terabytes per system. The servers can accommodate up to 64GB of memory and up to 88 servers can be housed in a rack.

In November 2007, the company launched servers based on the Quad-Core Intel Xeon processor 5400 series. In September 2007, the company launched servers based on Quad-Core AMD Opteron processors and in February 2007, it launched servers, models 2220 and 8220, based on AMD Opteron processors.
