MicroStrategy, a provider of business intelligence (BI) software, said that it will offer integration with Microsoft SharePoint Server 2010.
The company said that it has been working with Microsoft SharePoint Server, enabling customers to consolidate MicroStrategy-based reports, analytics, and dashboards into a SharePoint Server portal. Organisations can extend the reach of their BI reporting by deploying MicroStrategy’s full functionality, formatting and user interactivity into SharePoint Server.
According to MicroStrategy, the collaborative and personalisation capabilities of SharePoint Server 2010 and its BI software will facilitate users to analyse business data through charts, maps, and interactive data visualisations.
In addition, the new combination will also allows users to collaborate with others; incorporate search results from Bing search engine; and access personalised BI information, utilising corporate access privileges.
