IBM has claimed that Compliance Warehouse features an information vault for storing all the required evidence, complemented by tools that automatically identify, classify and aggregate content and process information from multiple sources, and that allow organizations to analyze, monitor and deliver that information for legal and operational purposes.
The IBM Compliance Warehouse is claimed to provide offerings required for a complete compliance solution, such as IBM FileNet records manager and IBM classification module, as well as other IBM software, hardware and services provided by Cognos, Lotus and Tivoli, IBM system storage, global business services and global technology services.
Lee Roberts, general manager of enterprise content management at IBM, said: Companies are realizing that they need to work with a trusted partner in order to achieve enterprise-wide compliance. Point solutions scattered throughout the organization do not provide the enterprise-level visibility, or control, required to ensure compliance, while decreasing risks, costs and time-to-decision. This is particularly true when addressing legal discovery.
