i2 has unveiled i2 iBase IntelliShare, a new web-based application that is designed to enable operational teams and managers throughout an organisation to securely access, collaborate on and share information.
According to i2, the iBase data repository enables analysts capture, control and analyse multi-source data in a secure environment. The new iBase IntelliShare is claimed to open up the intelligence held in the iBase repository to operational teams – enabling secure, controlled access and contributions to the intelligence stored in the repository without requiring the involvement of an analyst.
The company noted that the new web-based application provides users with web-based browser interface supporting enhanced collaboration and intelligence sharing across the organisation. It is a component of the new i2 Intelligence-Led Operations Platform.
The new application is developed to help operational users who require minimal capabilities for search, data visualisation and controlled data entry.
Chriss Knisley, assistant vice president at i2, said: iBase IntelliShare puts the high value intelligence held in the iBase repository into the hands of more people, bridging information gaps and enabling the broader team to grasp the big picture and make more informed, rapid decisions.
