2. Sky Sports + Sky Go
One of the best dedicated sports news companies out there. The Sky sports app gives you information on all the sporting events around the world.
Using it in combination with Sky Go is a must, so if you are out and about then you can keep up to date with Jeff Stelling and the crew on Soccer Saturday and never miss a goal.
Of course Sky Go can be used for watching a number of programmes but for the sports fan alone, based on your subscription, you can watch all the football, rugby and cricket matches live.
3. FourFourTwo Stats Zone
Possibly the best football dedicated app you can get. It offers live scores, line-ups, goal alerts and also 1500 stats for every game, just in case you want to get really in-depth on why your team lost miserably.
Users also have access to live coverage of the Premiership, La Liga, Seria A and a number of other leagues and competitions.
What helps to make it such a strong app is that it is powered by Opta’s in-depth database.
4. BBC Sport
The BBC Sport app gives you pretty much all you would want from a news app. Giving you up to date news, reports, blogs and much more.
One of the good things about the app is that it comes from a trusted source, you can place a lot more faith in the sports news from the BBC than others.
Users have access to news on the majority of sports you are likely to care about as well as radio channels.
5. Wimbledon
It’s Summer, this means that Wimbledon is right round the corner, so make sure you keep up to date with The Championships app.
