Astera Software, a provider of data integration software, has unveiled a data integration and ETL platform Centerprise Data Integrator 5.
The new ETL platform integrates data integration, data quality, and data profiling functionality in an unified environment.
It features a revamped user interface lending itself to non-technical users while still maintaining advanced capabilities aimed at data integration specialists with more data migration scenarios.
The company said that the new platform enables all stakeholders in an integration project to use a single interface, share their work in a team environment and integrate with version control systems.
In addition, the Centerprise adds data visualisation, quick profiling, and modular flow design capabilities, which make it easier to develop complex flows by technical and non-technical users without requiring a steep learning curve.
Astera Software CEO Ibrahim Surani said that as data integration functions are increasingly performed by non-technical users, a high-quality user experience is vital to the success of projects and broader adoption of tools within the enterprise.
"Centerprise 5 represents a major leap in usability for data integration platforms and we will continue to make strides in this area," Surani said.
The company said that the Centerprise 5 is suited for various data integration scenarios including: data mapping, data warehousing, application data integration, B2B data exchange, cloud application integration, and real time integration through SOA.
