A London-based personal computer services organisation, The C/WP Group, is providing computer training through its Barefoot PC Training courses: the company reckons that all users ought to be able to perform basic maintenance like board swapping and software installation without calling in the heavies from the computer department; other courses planned will familiarise users with Unix, desktop publishing and personal computer applications; CW/P is also offering a dealer training scheme that will entitle dealers to receive a 30% commission when they recommend a C/WP course to their clients; in addition, C/WP is offering a further discount of 5% which will be allocated to a co-operative marketing fund that will accrue over one quarter and can be spent on subsequent joint marketing activities.
