Cricket Communications, a provider of wireless services and subsidiary of Leap Wireless International, and Samsung Telecommunications America (Samsung Mobile), have launched the new Samsung Stunt (SCH-R100).
According to Cricket Communications, the new sleek bar phone comes loaded with mobile web, games and apps, bluetooth, long battery life, speakerphone and voice commands. In addition, it is incorporated with MyBackup functionality that enables subscribers to automatically protect their mobile contacts without the hassle of data cables.
The company said that the new Samsung Stunt builds upon its predecessor, the Samsung SCH-R211, and features a 128 x 160 colour display and slimmer design. It measures 4.22 inches x 1.73 inches x .54 inches and weighs 2.61oz.
Matt Stoiber, vice president and general manager of devices for Cricket, said: “The Samsung Stunt provides a slender, smart design and introduces Bluetooth to our most affordable tier of devices. And with its friendly user interface, it offers a sophisticated experience while remaining easy to use.”
