Corel Corp says it has struck a deal with Trellix Corp to include the latter’s web authoring and presentation software in the next version of its flagship WordPerfect Suite, to be introduced later this month. The Trellis 2.0 product is designed to enable users of word processors to create and maintain linked web documents without having to know HTML coding or possess graphic design skills. The two companies have pledged to work together to integrate the technology so word processor documents can be easily imported, formatted within Trellix 2.0 and then published to the web. In addition, Trellix 2.0 can be used independently to create web-based presentations.
