Concord Technologies said that it will unveil its new integration of Concord Fax Online with Microsoft Exchange 2010 at Microsoft’s Worldwide Partner Conference in New Orleans.

Concord said that this new integration provides a set of fax features for sending and receiving faxes through Exchange 2010. Users of Microsoft’s fax feature in Exchange 2007 will be able to migrate to Concord Fax Online as part of Exchange 2010 upgrade, in hosted or customer premise-based deployments.

Fax Online for Microsoft Exchange 2010 reportedly supports faxing through customer premise-based media gateways as well as through fax numbers on Concord’s global fax network.

Christopher Moore, president and CEO of Concord Technologies, said: “We are excited to show Concord Fax Online for Microsoft Exchange 2010 to the public for the first time. Working with Microsoft to develop a replacement for the Exchange 2007 fax functionality shows Concord’s commitment to its medium to large Enterprise customer base.”

Ankur Kothari, Sr. technical product manager at Microsoft, said: “Microsoft Exchange 2010 is the cornerstone of Microsoft’s unified communications solutions. Microsoft is excited to be working with Concord Fax Online to provide customers a powerful, easy to implement, high availability fax solution that integrates tightly with the Microsoft Exchange 2010 server.”
