Computer & Communications Technology Inc, which has a rather grand name for a maker of disk drive recording heads, suffered a sharp drop in revenue in the current quarter and will therefore report a substantial loss on sales lower than the $15.6m recorded in the second quarter: the company blames numerous component shortages that have delayed shipment of finished products; in the year ago quarter, the company did $202,000 net, 2 cents a share, on $30.9m turnover.
