Computer Associates Ltd is currently beta testing an automated console and message administration product for the DOS/VSE operating system; CA-Opera VSE intercepts messages for the VSE system console or any user selected CICS terminal, initiates a reaction and then provides an audit trail to track messages; it is available either separately or as a component of Computer Associates’ production control package, the CA-Unipack/APC VSE.
