The Warsaw subsidiary of Computer 2000 GmbH is negotiating with IBM Corp and Compaq Computer Corp about distributing their low-end personal computer ranges, following their introduction into Poland. The company took a 51% stake in Polish distributor DHI last year, but has left it very much to its own devices. DHI is free to talk to other suppliers and does not siphon off stock from Computer 2000 warehouses.
