Compaq Computer Corp has said it plans to plow $25m into a new telephone call center in Glasgow, Scotland which will create some 250 new jobs. The UK branch of the company will be centralizing its telephone pre-sales support in Glasgow, and will be looking to the city’s skilled graduate work force to provide a better customer service.
