Information management application provider Claricent has opened its offshore innovation and support centre in Chennai, India, marking a major expansion of its SAP business intelligence (BI) consulting services.
The Massachusetts-based company reveals that the new centre extends its network of consultants to India, Asia Pacific, and the Middle East markets in a bid to deliver mid-market enterprises with access to new SAP BI services required to accelerate the adoption of new technologies.
Claricent said it has consolidated a team of SAP technology experts and information management specialists in one place to encourage multi-disciplinary offerings.
Claricent notes the companies can access BI consultants for discrete projects or develop a multi-function team to coordinate the implementation of business intelligence initiatives.
The centre will provide integrated offerings that facilitate deeper analysis and enable customers to achieve efficient business process optimisation.
The consulting organisation said the new centre will boost business innovation as customers will work with senior-level consultants to implement new technologies at lower costs, and avoid lengthy and costly staffing processes.
The centre also hosts an innovation hub, which would develop IP-driven service offerings in the information management space.
