As part of the agreement, Interface Software is developing a Content Delivery Agent (CDA), a Web-based application that snaps into a user’s Citrix XPS portal and enables seamless integration between the InterAction relationship intelligence application and Citrix XPS. In addition to the product initiative, Interface Software has joined the Citrix Business Alliance Internet Solutions Program to capitalize on joint marketing and sales efforts.
Citrix and Interface Software already share several customers. Commenting on the relationship, Mitchell Grossbach, Interface Software’s vice president of business development, said, We are excited about going to market with Citrix. The combination of Citrix XPS and InterAction provides our mutual customers with a single, secure interface through which they can access, share and capitalize on any information resource – spanning relationship intelligence, enterprise application data, content from external sources and the Web.
The integration of InterAction with Citrix XPS offers law firms, accounting firms, financial services organizations, management consultancies and other professional services firms a packaged enterprise portal that unifies and delivers secure access to the diverse sets of information professionals need to enhance client service, identify new business opportunities and differentiate their firms from the competition.
By providing a virtual workplace that liberates professionals from their offices and reduces the time and effort required to gather and act on the information they need to do business, Citrix portal software is ideally suited for professional services firms, said Barry Davis, vice president, business development for Citrix. Our alliance with Interface Software delivers a crucial piece of the virtual workplace to our professional services customers – a better way to build and sustain client relationships.
