Cisco has introduced new Eos features that provide advanced video and mobile experiences, content management capabilities.
The new Eos is a hosted Software-as-a-Service platform that is expected to enable Media and Entertainment companies to create, manage and grow high-value social-entertainment experiences built around their branded content.
In addition, the offering provides media companies with an integrated approach that delivers website creation and social media features, content management, and audience analytics in a single, easy-to-use platform.
The new Eos features include: deliver the quality video to any device; seamlessly reach audiences on multiple platforms; grow your audience and analyse trends; and easily upload and organise multiple media assets.
Cisco media solutions group senior vice president and general manager Dan Scheinman said having a website, a Facebook page, and a Twitter feed is no longer enough for Media and Entertainment brands.
"It is the marriage of social technology and compelling entertainment content that drives traffic and creates new value for audiences," Scheinman said.
