Cipher Data Products Inc has a $2.1m two-year contract for 3834 half-inch cartridge and M990 GCR CacheTape reel-to-reel tape drives to Parallel Technology, Hayward, California, which will integrate the drives into its Cobra modular tape subsystem for the Unisys Corp A Series and V Series mainframes.
