Chisholm Inc, Campbell, California has unveiled a liquid crystal diode projectional panel that automatically adjusts itself to work with any MS-DOS micro or Apple Computer Macintosh: the transparent device attaches to a computer’s video output and duplicates the image shown on the monitor, and when placed on an overhead projector like an ordinary transparency, it displays the image on a screen or wall for viewing; called Looking Glass, it uses signature recognition, so that it identifies the type of video signal as soon as it is switched on and adjusts itself to project the best possible image, regardless of whether the signal is CGA, EGA, VGA, Mac II or whatever, and it projects a help screen that displays the control keys on the top of the unit; out now, the thing is $1,900.
