Southborough, Massachusetts-based Chipcom Corp and Cisco Systems Inc, Menlo Park have agreed to a strategic, worldwide partnership that incorporates Cisco’s Internetwork Operating System with Chipcom’s secure network switching hubs: the new agreement builds on an existing four-year-old relationship between the two companies in which Chipcom and Cisco co-developed router modules for Chipcom’s ONline System Concentrator family; initial joint products developed by the two companies are set for late this year.
