The Hong Kong-listed arm of China’s top PC manufacturer, Legend Holdings, has reported a 276% jump in net profit to HK$275.27m ($35.5m) for the year ended March 31. Revenue was up 45.5% at HK$11.63 bn ($1.49bn), thanks mainly to an 85% jump in PC sales to HK$5.07bn ($735m). Legend attributed much of its growth to the rise in internet use in China, which saw the number of connected users double to 2.1 million in last five months of last year. The company expects this figure to rise to 10 million early next year.
