There now are between 600,000 and 700,000 personal computers in use in China, the China News Service reports: the state has decided to equip 1% of the 800,000 Chinese primary schools with personal computers each year, and the news service says that the Chinise market absorbed 200,000 machines last year, with 10% going into homes.
