San Jose, California-based Cisco Systems Inc has announced that Chernikeef Telecommunications Ltd, New Malden, Surrey has become the first company worldwide to receive Channel Interface Processor certification. This will allow Chernikeeff to install and maintain Cisco’s CIP products, which enable direct connection between IBM Corp mainframes and routed internetworks.
