Salt Lake City, Utah-based Century Software Inc has launched TinyTerm for MS-Windows, a Windows-based communications and terminal emulation program that enables users to access programs on Unix, Xenix and VAX hosts as though they were local applications. Called by its creators the fastest terminal software available for Windows, TinyTerm emulates the six most widely used Unix terminals. Cost is $60 a user for up to five users. The company has also created TinyTerm for X Window, a terminal emulator for acc-essing multi-user systems on a network. It enables users to access character-based Unix applications as if they were using a personal computer. Price is $300 for Santa Cruz Open Desktop and $400 for Sparc.
