The Carreker Fraud Manager uses a detection engine to identify current and past fraud exposures in order to allow for enterprise-level risk management across multiple channels and relationships.
Carreker said the new product leverages and builds upon its existing fraud detection programs, and is currently available to detect fraudulent wire transfers through all channels including the internet, branch and telephone.
The application integrates IBM’s infrastructure and middleware components with Carreker’s business applications to provide a technology system that delivers real-time, industry-leading fraud prevention.
Fraud losses continue to be a mounting problem in the banking industry.
