Capgemini Consulting, strategy and transformation consulting arm of the Capgemini, has partnered with the gamification and behavior management platform, Badgeville, to accelerate the use of gamification in the workplace.
The partnership will create applications which will be engaging, rewarding and motivating employees and customers.
Capgemini Consulting Digital Transformation vice president Maggie Buggie said the new partnership brings together Badgeville’s gamification expertise with the company’s track record in large-scale strategic transformation.
"Today’s announcement also demonstrates Capgemini Consulting’s commitment to innovation and our leadership in Digital Transformation," Buggie said.
Gamification techniques are claimed to drive customer and employee behavior as well as blend psychology and technology to help businesses reach their objectives.
Organisations use techniques such as reward systems and achievement levels to allow businesses to change the behavior of both their people and their customers.
Innovative enterprises are also using gamification to win improved customer loyalty and enhanced interaction with customers on their web and social media channels.
Badgeville CEO Kris Duggan said the partnership will enable Capgemini to help clients with their digital transition to modern, social enterprises.
"Our partnership will enable us to reach new clients across the globe who are not yet mature in using gamification and behavior management as a strategic advantage for their business," Duggan said.
