CGI Group, a provider of information technology and business process services, have signed two seven-year contracts with Canada-based Govan Credit Union and Broadview Credit Union, respectively, whereby CGI will provide its RFS core banking system with integrated loan origination and CRM solutions.

CGI claimed that RFS system is used in more than 50 Canadian credit unions, schedule II banks, and trusts coast-to-coast. HORIZON Loan Origination System, used by more than 80 financial institutions and HORIZON Know Your Member, used by more than 60 clients, can be integrated with any banking solution.

Ian Hardy, general manager of Govan Credit Union, said: “We are thrilled to strengthen our relationship with CGI and have the opportunity to convert to their RFS banking system. With this conversion, we will be able to follow through with our commitment to provide accurate and reliable banking service to our membership. We are pleased to be back on track with our organization’s goals for the future.”
