The Cables de Lyon SA unit of Compagnie Generale d’Electricite SA is to buy the 56.6% of Italian cable manufacturer Manuli Cavi SpA currently held by the Manuli group: the balance is traded on the Milan Stock Exchange; and the company also has 50% of Manuli Hellas Cables SA of Athens and CGE will also buy the other 50% of the Greek company.
