Cable & Wireless Plc is pulling together its two existing US subsidiaries to form the new Cable & Wireless Inc which will handle all its business in North America: currently large multi-national customers are dealt with by Cable & Wireless Americas, while the smaller customers were sent to the Cable & Wireless Communications arm.
