Wokingham, Berkshire-based BtN Ltd has announced the immediate availability of a PC Card-based ISDN card, the Diehl Diva. It is being aimed at remote users wanting to connect to corporate Token Ring networks and is for use in Type II slots: it is said to have full Point to Point Protocol support, and to be compatible with NetWare, PC Support/400, and LAN Server/LAN Manager. ISDN calls are placed and disconnected on an as-needed basis in the background, says the company. It is to cost ú1,240 including all the software.
