Needless to say, British Telecommunications Plc is full of backstabbers who never thought the company should have been turfed out of the cosy public sector and subjected to the rigours of the market, so it hasn’t taken long for one or more of them to leak to the Financial Times an internal document that shows that the company has a profit margin of nearly 60% on international calls, and casts doubt on some of the excuses it made for the high prices charged on foreign calls.
