Stuttgart, Germany-based electronics, telecommunications and automotive parts group Robert Bosch GmbH says it plans a stunning 10,400 reduction in jobs this year in an effort to slash its costs by $290m; the company says it cut 11,000 jobs last year, and so far this year 20,000 workers in Bosch’s German plant were on short-time working, the company added; it also warns that group sales for 1993 might be as much as 4% to 5% down on 1992.
