Scotts Valley, California-based Borland International Inc is now shipping Paradox 7 for Windows95 and Windows NT. The company claims the package breaks new ground in end user ease-of-use, with new Experts that automate common database tasks and a range of usability enhancements that help new users to start working with their data immediately. It is also integrated with Microsoft Corp’s Office 95 and Novell Inc’s PerfectOffice. In addition, the database includes new visual productivity tools designed to enable power users and professional application developers to extend the Paradox environment to deliver the most advanced Windows database applications. Paradox 7 is available from Borland and through distribution channels. The estimated street price for a new-user version of Paradox 7 is $300, and the estimated upgrade price is $90. There is also a $100 special offer for those switching from competing products.
