BMC Software Inc is working with D2K Inc on a bundle designed to ease the delivery to a data warehouse of data stored on an MVS mainframe. The bundle will combine BMC’s software for pulling information out of a mainframe, such as MVS running DB2 and putting it into a data warehouse and the ability to only update incremental changes to data transferred from a mainframe into an NT environment. The two companies are currently working on integrating BMC and D2K software and will be ready to ship the integrated bundle by the end of the first quarter of next year.
