Technology and functionality from DGI’s Classic and Flight Deck will be added to BMC’s SmartDBA DB2 UDB for enhanced monitoring, advice and performance optimization improving problem detection and resolution. DGI’s founder Scott Hayes also joins the BMC software enterprise data management team. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
