Atlanta-based BellSouth Corp’s BellSouth Enterprises is teaming up with Dow Jones & Co for a trial by the cellular operator in Los Angeles in which it has a stake to try out for three months a service called Personal Info Clips in which Dow Jones’ Voice Information Network will put frequently updated 30-second reports on any 10 of 50 industrial categories chosen by the subscriber into a voice mail box that the subscriber would dial into over the cellular network: charges have been set at $2.25 a month plus 20 cents to 40 cents a minute for the call; up to 5,000 subscribers are to participate in the trial.
