The Australians aren’t the only ones winning big telecommunications business in faraway places (CI No 1,017): the Bell Canada International Inc arm of BCE Inc, has a $200m contract from Morocco for supply of 300,000 telephone lines, training on and maintenance of the system and the management of the project; no word on who will supply the switches, but it is likely to be BCE affiliate Northern Telecom.
