BancTec Inc now has definitive agreement to acquire Computer Entry Systems Corp and will make a cash tender offer for all the shares out at $8.50 a share, valuing Computer Entry at about $45m; BancTec provides computerised systems for processing cheques and other financial documents, and Computer Entry, in Silver Spring, Maryland makes cash management and payment processing systems in the US, Canada and UK.
