Deerfield, Illinois-based VictorMaxx Technologies Inc says it expects to launch an Internet-based interactive game called AutoDuel Online by the end of the year: the company said the decision to launch the game, based on the board game Car Wars, was fuelled by announcements that new versions of three- dimensional accelerator boards will be in the market at Christmas: the boards make it possible to play AutoDuel from home; testing is due to begin next quarter and the game should be fully available in the fourth quarter; AutoDuel is the first in a series of fully immersive multi-player games for on the Internet; VictorMaxx uses its proprietary software engine as the foundation of all its on-line products; it will defer the release of AutoDuel Arena location-based version, to focus on the on-line game.
