AT&T Co has been awarded a contract to supply telecommunications equipment to US Department of Treasury locations in 22 states along the East Coast as part of a 10-year contract worth $125m all told: AT&T will supply its Definity PABXs, Merlin electronic key systems and data switching equipment as part of a Treasury Department modernisation programme; the deal comprises three separate regional deals covering the Northeast, $49m, Mid-Atlantic area, $24m, and the Southeast, $52m, the telephone company says.
