AT&T Co announced in Dublin that it is closing its plant in Donegal, northwest Ireland, at the cost of 63 jobs, and is also cutting 50 jobs at its plant in Bray, in the east. The reductions will trim its workforce in the Republic to 235 people. AT&T blamed a downturn in demand for the products made at the Irish plants and increasing competitiveness in international markets.
