ASP FutureLink to Acquire Citrix Hosting Firm, VSI

One of the emerging players in application service provider market, FutureLink Corp, has announced that it is planning to acquire VSI Technology Solutions Inc for $26.5m in cash and stock. VSI supplies ASP hosting platforms based on Windows NT and Citrix MetaFrame software. Fast growing FutureLink, based in Irvine, California, has recently acquired MicroVisions, CNI, Async Technologies and is in the process of buying KNS.
