Celebrating a year under the ownership of Mitsubishi Electric, Apricot the UK-based personal computer maker is to bring 80 new jobs to Glenrothes, Scotland from Singapore. Apricot plans to move electronics assembly over here from Singapore because costs for assembling mother boards in Singapore are rising. Apricot expects to spend UKP5m on expanding the Glenrothes factory.
