Underlining the turmoil that has been going on at the top of Apple Computer Inc, John Sculley, who had been saying that the company was moving upmarket and leaving its original fans behind, is now harking back to his earlier suggestions of a $1,000 Macintosh, saying that the upheavals are at an end, and that the company would also bring more new products to market faster in the future, as well as becoming the innovator in the computer industry in the mid-1990s – we are looking at things no-one else is doing now, he told shareholders.
