Apple Computer Inc has raised the equivalent of $29.2m in cash after selling a further 1.9m shares in ARM Holdings Plc, the Cambridge, UK-based chip designer. The sale leaves Apple with 17 million ARM shares, or 8.9% of the total equity, which is currently worth $249m.
