AIM Pro also promises business-grade security, including SSL encryption and anti-virus scanning of shared documents.

Users can choose to use their corporate email address as their AIM screen name. They also have access through the IM client to The Wall Street Journal headlines, plus stock quotes and market data from AOL Money & Finance.

Also, the service has a podcasting feature, in which users can click for play lists, RSS feed managers, podcast engines and media players. There also is a searchable database of more than 31 million business profiles and two million companies globally.
