Unisys Corp has a $1.5m contract from the Larvik Line ferry operator in Norway to supply a 2200/411 mainframe and an M9760 high-performance disk subsystem: the Larvik Line is implementing a reservation system developed by Unisys Norway with the Mapper generator to handle reservations for passengers, cars, cabins and hotels, based on Mapper systems developed for other ferries in Norway – some 80% of all ferry traffic to and from Norway is handled by Mapper reservations systems.
