Sir Clive Sinclair’s wafer-scale semiconductor venture Anamartic Ltd is looking at introducing its first parts – thought to be enormous memory wafers tying scores of standard memory chips together on a single wafer – next year: according to the Guardian, the company also has a UKP1m technology exchange pact with the Franco-Italian SGS-Thomson chip shop, and early investor Tandem Computers Inc is likely to contribute to a second round financing.
