Advanced Micro Devices Inc is asking the US District Court in San Francisco to issue a restraining order barring Intel Corp from discussing how the court decision that AMD was not entitled to use 80287 microcode in clones of the maths co-processor will affect Advanced Micro’s current Am386 chip; Advanced Micro also asked the court to restrain Intel from taking any steps to block import of computers that use the Am386 microprocessor.
